Escaping GASOLINE With This TINY Solar Array? Striving for a DC Homestead #WattCycle 628ah LiFePO4

Hi folks! At our new homestead, hauling supplies, cleaning up trash and mowing down grass are just some of the activities that can consume Gasoline. But I am working hard to increase utilization of SOLAR POWER instead of fuel. In this video, I finally try to take both of my 48v riding electric mowers off the electrical grid for good. They can consume 3kw/h or more in just one mowing session. In the past, I used Gasoline powered equipment for property maintenance. But now I want to use DC power instead. This is a step in the right direction! To meet this goal I am building a dedicated charging station in my barn. We will be installing the massive WattCycle 12v 628ah Ultra battery as the core of this system. [Link is below – No commissions!]

My two homestead “mini tractors” need a dedicated off-grid solar charging station – so they can keep haulings loads and mowing endless grass. With over 35 acres of grass and weeds, it’s an overwhelming task. This is the story of how I took both mowers off the electrical grid, using materials and supplies I had on hand.

Riding electric mowers consume kilo-watts of power, so in many cases gasoline makes more sense. Yet I am challenging myself to break away from gasoline. You might be suprised how small of a solar array it actually took to operate my TWO electric riding mowers. In this case not only do they mow grass but must transport tools, equipment and materials around the property.
