Carvey Ehren Maigue, a young innovator from the Philippines, developed AuREUS, a unique solar technology that can generate electricity even without direct sunlight.
Unlike traditional solar panels that rely on visible sunlight, AuREUS works by absorbing ultraviolet (UV) rays, which can pass through clouds and still reach the Earth.
The technology uses organic compounds extracted from waste fruits and vegetables, embedded into a special material that converts UV light into usable energy.
