Today I’m at a house that uses no gas at all. Everything runs on electricity heating, hot water, cooking… the lot.
And when I say everything, I mean TWO heat pumps, an electric car, solar panels, and now batteries.
Today, we’re upgrading the system so this home can run on cheap electricity and solar as much as possible. Because while heat pumps are brilliant, electricity in the UK can be expensive if you use it at the wrong time.
